For many years my work has been focused on helping young singers to develop their voices along with their skills for interpretation in general. Although this website focuses on French diction and the extreme richness of the French recital repertoire, I would be delighted to expand my contribution to other aspects of your vocal development. I have a great passion for the voice and music has been my medium for as long as I can remember.

My experience as a recitalist and now as a teacher always directs me towards the importance of the text and how we articulate and enunciate it. Words carry emotions and colours. Thinking about the word "amour" for example, it can paint anguish, tenderness, satisfaction, passion - even anger. Without sacrificing the tonal quality, one can express those subtleties in the interpretation.

As well as developing your ability to express, I can help you to achieve an emotional and artistic transition from song to song, whether you prepare for a recital, an audition or an examination of the Royal Conservatory of Music ARCT.

My teaching is the extension of my performing, and I look forward to the opportunity of working with you.
